The 100 hectares of vineyards of the Château de l'Escarelle are located in the heart of Provence and flourish in a natural setting of 1,000 hectares. In organic conversion, and certified High Environmental Value category 3, the property is a model of sustainable development.
Armed with its recent investments in the vineyard as well as in the cellar, and animated by an experienced and passionate team, the Château de l'Escarelle produces unique, gourmet and precise wines. 80% of its production consists of rosé wines, offering a wide and complementary premium range, with elegant and modern packaging.

The Villa Engardin, nestled in the heart of the grounds of the Château de l'Escarelle, guarantees absolute comfort and intimacy. It is the perfect place to recharge your batteries while taking advantage of the art of living in Provence, within a wine estate that deserves to be known. The villa is refined, welcoming. It offers an area of 1000 m2, equipped with all modern comforts for 20 people. An interior decorator gave her own identity to each room, allowing everyone to find her ideal nest! All rooms are air-conditioned and have a TV, en suite bathroom with shower.
The property has a lift allowing easy access to the floors for people with reduced mobility.
Outside you will find a generous pool.   Included in the rental:
- a basket with treasures from the domain
- linen and towels, changed once a week
- 2 hours of cleaning per day, except on Sundays
- a wine tasting of the domain
- Visit to the ultra-modern wine cellar (by reservation);
- exit cleaning

We will be able to organize activities for adults and children. There are many possibilities in such a rich place.

L'Escarelle is in a few words: o A concrete cuverie, dating from 1900 and completely renovated in 2014, which hosts the vinification of our rosé and white wines.
o A stainless steel cuverie of High Technology, inaugurated with the 2016 vintage and among the most efficient and accurate of the market, which hosts the vinification of our red wines.
o Sweet vinifications to preserve the totality of the wines: delicate pressing, gravity work, pigeage on our red wines.
o A commitment to Nature with a HVE labelling, level 3 (the highest) and an organic conversion path taken
o Maturing in oak barrels on our high-end cuvées: Mes Bastides, 1718 and Croix d'Engardin: White wines: Fermentation in new barrels, followed by a one-year ageing with batonnage in barrels of one or two years.
